To set up mIRC to download files without bugging you, perform the
following:
1) Open the
mIRC Options dialog (in the menu go to Tools -> Options) and navigate to the DCC
tab.
2) Enable
Auto-get file and minimize.
3) Set If file exists: to Resume.
Your DCC dialog
should match the following image:
4) Click
the Trusted button.
5) Disable
All the options in the Trusted Users dialog.
Your Trusted Users dialog
should match the following image:
6) Navigate
to the Options tab.
7) Enable
Close window on Get.
8) Enable
Passive DCC.
9) Disable
Show Warning.
Your DCC Options dialog
should match the following image:
10) Navigate
to the Folders tab.
11) Select
the default type and Click
the Edit button.
12) Press
the button below "Into this folder" and navigate to a
location on your computer for files to be placed. I recommend your
Desktop for easy access.
Your DCC Get Folder dialog
should look similiar to the following image:
13) Press
the OK button.
14) Select
the "*.wave,* Type" and Press
the Delete button.
Your DCC Folder dialog
should look similiar to the following image:
15) Navigate
to the Ignore Tab.
16) Set
method to Disabled.
17) Disable
"Turn ignore back on in".
